Q1. How do I open a new Trading and Demat account online with Stoxkart?

You can open a Trading and Demat account online with Stoxkart in a few simple steps by visiting https://signup.stoxkart.com/e-kyc/mobile. Sign up using your mobile number and email ID, follow the on-screen instructions, and complete the e-sign process.

Q2. What documents are required to open a Stoxkart account?

To open a Stoxkart account, you will need:

  • PAN card (must be linked with Aadhaar)

  • Aadhaar card (mobile/email must be linked with Aadhaar)

  • Bank account proof: Cancelled cheque or latest bank statement/passbook copy with name, account number, MICR, and IFSC code

  • Recent photograph and signature on white paper

  • Income proof (only for F&O segment): Latest 6-month bank statement, salary slip/Form 16, last Income Tax Return, net worth certificate, or demat holding statement with current value

Q3. How long does it take to open a Demat account on Stoxkart?

You can complete the account opening process within 10 minutes if you have all the required information and documents readily available. Your Stoxkart account will be activated within two working days if all documents are correct. However, trading account activation is subject to approval from exchanges.

Q4. What documents are acceptable as Proof of Address?

The following documents are accepted as address proof:

  • Aadhaar

  • Passport

  • Voter's card

  • Driver's license

Q5. In which segments can I open an online trading account?

Stoxkart offers trading accounts for the following segments:

  • Equity

  • Equity F&O

  • Currency F&O

  • Mutual Funds

  • Commodity

Document Submission and KYC

Q1. Can I arrange a pickup of my account opening documents?

No, Stoxkart does not provide a facility for document pickup.

Q2. Can I complete my KYC without using DigiLocker?

No, you cannot complete KYC without using DigiLocker. There is no DigiLocker alternative available on Stoxkart as of now.

Q3. I don't have my PAN card with me. Can I still proceed with account opening?

No, you cannot open a Stoxkart trading or demat account without a PAN card. It's a mandatory document as per SEBI regulations. However, if your PAN is already registered and you've forgotten or lost it, you may encounter the error "PAN already registered with Stoxkart."

Q4. My KYC documents were rejected by Stoxkart. What should I do now?

If your KYC is rejected, visit https://rekyc.stoxkart.com to upload your documents again. Make sure your documents are clear, match your details, and are valid.

Common reasons for KYC rejection include:

  • Name mismatch between PAN and bank account

  • Aadhaar not linked or mobile/email mismatch

  • PayTM bank not accepted for KYC

  • Incorrect gender in KYC

If the issue remains unresolved, you can resend KYC documents via email at crf@stoxkart.com.

Q5. How do I review the documents I've uploaded for KYC?

You cannot directly view uploaded documents from the Stoxkart app or website once submitted. However, you can check the status of your KYC and whether your documents were accepted or rejected.

Q6. How can I upload my documents on the Stoxkart app?

To upload documents:

  1. Log in to the Stoxkart app on your iOS or Android device

  2. Navigate to your Profile or Account Settings section

  3. Look for the KYC/Document Upload option

  4. Upload Proof of Identity, Proof of Address, Bank Proof, Photograph, and Signature

  5. You will receive a confirmation message within the app once each document is uploaded

Q7. Can I send KYC documents via WhatsApp, email, or through someone else?

No, you cannot send KYC documents via WhatsApp, email, or through someone else. You must upload them directly using the official Stoxkart app or website to keep your data secure.

Q8. I uploaded someone else's PAN by mistake. How do I update it with my correct PAN?

To correct this, visit https://rekyc.stoxkart.com and upload the correct PAN. You can also resend KYC documents via email to crf@stoxkart.com for correction.

Q9. I've uploaded an incorrect signature. What should I do?

If you've uploaded an incorrect signature, visit https://rekyc.stoxkart.com to resend your KYC documents with the correct signature. Make sure it matches your PAN and Aadhaar records to avoid further rejection.

Q10. I want to delete or reset all my KYC details. Is that possible?

Currently, Stoxkart does not allow users to delete KYC information once it is verified, as it is stored with KRA (KYC Registration Agency) as per SEBI guidelines. However, you can request a KYC modification or correction. If you need to update linked bank details or reset certain information, you can initiate a bank account reset on the trading platform.

Q11. Why is KYC mandatory for opening a Stoxkart account?

KYC is mandatory to comply with SEBI regulations and ensure your identity is verified through PAN and Aadhaar. It helps prevent fraud and enables smooth transactions.
